Comings and Goings - New Rules!

Please join me in saying goodbye to Tammy & Rosemary – Rosemary was one of our ‘founding members’ way back in 2010 and Tammy joined in September 2012.   Thank you Tammy & Rosemary for being part of our group J
I wish to also welcome back Jen Dickson from USA – Jen will resume swapping in June 2014 after a year away.  Jen also passes on her thanks for the various Angel Blocks received during 2013.

I have created a separate Facebook Group, especially for the Christmas Block Swap members.  It can be found here -  This new facebook group is a closed group, just for Christmas Block Swappers where you can chat and share photos with each other.

Effective 1st June 2014, there will be a change to the rules.
To reduce the time I spend chasing up swappers and their blocks, a new rule has been introduced – you will now need to let the Swap Co-Ordinator know when you have sent your block.  You can do this by any of the following three ways:
  • via email – a photo would be wonderful, but not compulsory
  • share a photo on your own blog or the group blog
  • share a photo via Facebook.
It is vital you remain in contact with the Swap Co-Ordinator.  Any swappers not advising they have sent their block will be noted as MIA (Missing in Action).  Swappers noted as MIA when new partners are ready to be allocated WILL NOT GET A NEW PARTNER.
If there is no communication with the Swap Co-Ordinator for 30 days or more, you will be REMOVED from the group.
Repeated failure to swap and/or communicate is simply NOT ACCEPTABLE.  If you are having difficulties you can request to SIT OUT for a short while.
Swappers who do not receive any communication or block from their partner by the end of the month are requested to let the Swap Co-Ordinator know.

The Christmas Quilting Block Swap Group will only be as good as the individual members make it ……..let’s make it a good one!

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me!
