A wee-lil peek...

For Cathy T. from Queensland...
Her June block in on the plane & traveling a long way to get to her lovely place
where they have had Kangaroo's in the back yard!
She was sweet to e-mail me a picture of this for my children! Wow
Can you imagine sitting at your table looking up & seeing a pretty Kangaroo in your yard?  :)

Cathy was so fun (no preference)  she is getting a surprise block
and we are looking forward to her seeing her block!
Well...off I go as it's Strawberry picking days where were from in the USA :)
So....jam, toppings, fresh eating and cakes, sundaes.... oh my the list does not end...
how about you  ladies from afar
any thing you do special with Strawberries as traditional treat?

Blessings~
Lori

Blocks from Billy

Here are some blocks made by Billy for April and May

For Ann

For Sharon

Thanks Billy

Pat's May block...

I know that it has arrived in Oregon so I will post a picture of the block that I sent to Pat.
www.quilting.about.com/od/blockofthemonth/sschristmas_tree_2htm
This is the second time I have used this "tree" pattern
I really have enjoyed doing these tree's!
I am thinking
(reason for the grid)
If I was to play around with the size squares
it could be put together similar....
just no need for the boarder?
Any one used this site?
Let me know...
glad that she liked it and look forward to seeing her
"Forrest" some day on the blog!

My Block...

This is the "Log-Cabin" that Pat made me
Reds on one side & Greens on the other
It's got a lovely Poinsettia in the center.
Thanks Pat!
Blessings~

Off to New Zealand

Lorraine was my partner in QBSA for May and she is my Christmas partner for June, how coincidental is that !!  Lorraine requested a churn dash in traditional Christmas colours.  I hope she likes what I have made for her, the cream fabric has soft little gold Christmas trees on it, which don't really show up in the picture.  It will be posted on Monday
