Starry starry night

Janet from Yukon in Canada is my January partner and I have got off to an early start (bless the public holidays, they give me sewing time)

Here is Janet's blue and white Christmas star. Its off on its long journey to you.  I think it looks like a silver star on a dark winters night.

welcome and January partners out early

Hi lovely ladies!
well, not long to Christmas now - I hope things are peaceful in your house and not too chaotic!

FIRST - a big welcome to Chris from Florida who has joined us in time for the January swap!

SECOND - I have sent out the January partners early so that everyone has a little more time to create - but don't worry - you still have until the end of January to get your block to your partner.  Remember to make contact with them to confirm preferences and details asap.

Also, just letting you know that I will be away from my computer from Dec 24th until the 3rd of Jan.  Any hassles etc, please get in touch with me before Christmas eve, or otherwise, Ill get back to you when I return on the 3rd.

Thanks so much for all the crafty fantastic-ness this year - Ive loved being a part of it all with you

much love, pugs and kisses

I posted a picture of my December block but forgot
to show my November Christmas block received a couple of days ago from Larain.

I love how this looks like a star shining bright in the sky in the cold air.  Thanks Larain!

It is so lovely the way it blends.
Larain also sent me a lovely card of
'vintage-buttons' & a sweet bear card!
How sweet & I love the buttons & all my daughters are so thrilled that
they came to our home all the way across the world! :)
We have buttons from ACT Australia! Yeah!
I thank you so much for the lovely block & all the goodies.

Pretty poinsettas

My December partner is Anne in Nova Scotia who requested any Christmas themed block in Christmas colours.

I decided to make her a star in Poinsettia fabrics, I hope she likes it.
