From one Sue to another Sue

Sue from Elderslie in NSW is my Christmas block swap partner for April.  Sue is saving any star in any Christmas fabric, either traditional or non traditional.

I had received this lovely berry fabric in a Christmas fat quarter pack some time ago and have been waiting for the right block to use it on. Its not a traditional fabric, but close up has lots of lovely gold berries and red berries on branches - quite pretty.

I hope Sue likes my choice for her.

Fiona's Christmas Tree

My March partner is Fiona (Bubrugz), and she requested a green Christmas tree on a red background.

I had a pretty pine cone print to use for the tree, and it does not show in the photo, but the tips of the pine cones have gold on them, and the small stars on the red fabric are also gold.  This will be popped in the post to Fiona in the morning.

February block received

Look at this beautiful block I received from Cheryl in Australia!  Thanks so much Cheryl.  There were some little extras in the parcel too.  I'm so lucky!
