Shooting Star in Canada

The block I made for January partner, Brigitte has arrived in Canada.

Brigitte requested any star block in traditional Christmas colours
(the colours of red, green, gold, ivory, white) on cream BUT NOT FRIENDSHIP STAR

I made a Shooting star and here is a snippet photo

Another CaBiN

This block FiNaLLy arrived in Canada today... phew !!
Heather was my January partner and she wished for a Log Cabin in blues and whites with a YeLLoW heart.
So glad it arrived safe n sound and you LiKe it.

A "Log Cabin" that is.... and it arrived from my January swap partner Heather in Nova Scotia. I wished for a log cabin block using Christmas themed fabrics... and this fits PErFeCtLy into my project.

This beautiful star block was made by Sue B.  I love the Christmas print she used.  Sue also included a post card of Cairns City.  She said that is where they went on holidays a few months back.  Sue also included some of the beautiful Christmas fabric used in the block.  Thank you, Sue!!!

hello lovely ladies and happy new year to all!
i was lucky to swap with two people last month and these are the blocks i received
this one is from Linda M - a gorgeous north south east west star with spare matching fabric

and this one from Micki in Ireland - the beautifully dark red fabric is not done justice in the photo - but in real life the white and the dark red are a perfect complement - very striking indeed

Christmas Star for Mary

I really don't know about you but STARSSSSSS are so fussy.  I made 3 stars for Mary and only one really turned out... So I thought that I will show you a sneak peak at the colours I have chosen for this block.

Mary, I really hope that you like this star.
